Jealous?

Post by darkjedi on Wed Oct 28, 2009 4:47 pm

I got to see Star Wars in concert last week!

[childish nag]Hahahahhahahahahah!!!!!!![/childish nag]

It was pretty cool, they had Anthony Daniels there. He was the host/narrator guy.

And no, I didn't go in full costume. LOL But, there were a lot of people that were dressed up.

I'm surprised none of my friends did. Heck, one most of them are more of a freak than I am!

Oh, and they had the real, original Chewbacca costume behind glass around the entrance area of the Ford Center's arena.

The performance was wonderful! We had seats near the top... but it was still awesome.

Not bad for slightly under 50 bucks ay?

So, who's jealous? Isn't someone going to hit me?

Yeah, I think I've practically grown out of the star wars craze.

In middle school though, I was a freak. But now, I'd rather keep my dignity and not look like a total geek to the chicks around here. Even though I often pretend not to care. LOL
(Which I actually don't, from time to time.)

Anthony Daniels can actually put on a rather creepy voice. Especially when he impersonated the emperor.

That sends chills down your spine!

The choirs was wonderful also, especially when they did "Duel of Fates".

Shame? I view it as a wonderful childhood pastime.

I mean, me and my friends wanted to grow up to become jedi. LOL

Star Wars sprouted our imaginations, and helped our minds to grow in order to understand Star Trek. Razz

(Star Wars is a stepping stone to Star Trek for younglings.)

That's your school, my school was different. Everyone hated sci fi! And they still do. except a couple of geeks who have moved to high school.

Huh? Most of my friends weren't even from my school. LOL!

Well, some of them were, but not all of them.

In my old middle school, social groups were divided by what table you sat at in the lunch room.

There were two groups I always flocked with.

1. The nerd table

2. The misfits, or weirdo table

The nerds were the most fun, so I stayed with them the most. The misfits on the other hand, I wasn't with them quite as often. (For obvious reasons)

Some of them had severe mental issues. Example:

Colten and Tyler.

They were probably the weirdest kids in the school. Colten was literally mentally retarded, and Tyler had severe ADHD. Colten's mental capacity was similar to that of a 6 year old. And because of that, he never had a problem with quoting Thomas the Tank Engine and Spongebob Squarepants at every non-appropriate moment in conversation. Oh, and you can't forget the plane noises while walking down the hall, or the time that he got in trouble for going into the girls locker room. Razz

Tyler on the other hand, was not as mentally "challenged" as Colten. Instead of sticking out as one of the infamous, he had the rare privilege of being able to go on through school relatively unnoticed. Him and I had a few interesting philosophical/religious discussions and debates in middle school, but no matter how often I tried to break through his emotional and mental barriers, I never got to really know who he really was. Well, until High School. But that is a completely different story.

Anyways, both of these students viewed me as one of their few, close friends. If not their only friend.

I think every school has at least one of those Coltens or Tylers. LOL

It's kinda funny that our conversation worked back to middle school, because I almost completely forgot about some of the people I knew back then. Haha! Time flies, and so do memories sometimes.

Well, i'm talking about when i was 8-10. Social groups barely existed back then, and most people i knew were from school. I've managed to find a few with similar interests as me and in my age group, but they're few. Probably because most people in my age group are idiots... The 17-18 year olds on the other hand are slightly less stupid.

Thank you for putting me in the group of individuals that are "slightly less stupid".

Anyways, how old are you again?

16... I'll be slightly less stupid next year! Yay! But i'm talking about the ''gangsters'' and that kind of brainless idiots. Most people in my age group seem to want to be one.

Really? LOL!

My neighborhood is so ghetto, the first day I moved into town, the ice cream man got robbed, shot, and killed.

They stole his ice cream too! XD

I mean, who robs an ice cream man? Well, he probably was a sex offender anyways. Meh.

@ Thingy

Just start caring less about what other people think of you. That's what I did.

I'm not the best example, but still good advice.
